ArInfo“Educación viva”: un innovador concepto pedagógico
Una alternativa que cuestiona los postulados y prácticas de la escuela tradicional, proponiendo nuevas experiencias
Cada vez son más quienes se animan a concebir, pregonar y poner en práctica opciones distintas a la de las escuelas tradicionales. En ese marco, “La educación viva” propone un conjunto de ideas a aplicar en materia educativa, las cuales se centran en los valores del amor, el respeto, la libertad, los límites y el juego.
“Hacemos énfasis en la palabra “viva” porque, como todo en la vida, la educación también tiene movimiento y no puede ser estática, pero a la escuela tradicional la caracteriza la rigidez”, sostuvo Virginia Blainstein, referente de la Educación Viva.
En diálogo con el programa “Mamás con aire de radio” de Radio Arinfo, la especialista aseguró que la idea central de esta pedagogía alternativa es “respetar los tiempos y la ética de la vida”.
“La continuidad afectiva es central. En la crianza hay poca continuidad: si el niño se porta bien, lo queremos, pero si se porta mal, no lo queremos. Esa discontinuidad en el cuidado emocional trae muchas dificultades a la larga. Los niños se sienten inseguros y crean defensas”, apuntó Blainstein en relación al pilar del amor.
Sobre el rol de los adultos, planteó: “La idea es que los padres puedan respetar a ese ser humano que es niño: necesitamos darles un ambiente preparado, una membrana semipermeable y tener mucha presencia para crear un clima propicio para desarrollar el potencial humano. El niño trae consigo todo un potencial y lo único que necesita es un ambiente respetuoso. Debemos ayudar al niño a que sea y eso es algo que en las escuelas no nos enseñan. Nos enseñan a saber, a decir, a cumplir, pero no a ser. Ese es el gran desafío de la actualidad”
“Hay que hacer al niño un sujeto y no un objeto. Hay que mimarlo, abrazarlo, escuchar que dice con su tono muscular y aislarlo de la sobre estimulación. Hay que mostrarle que el mundo es un lugar digno de llegar y ser vivido”, añadió.
Blainstein también analizó la postura de los docentes y la necesidad de “educar a los educadores”. “Debe surgir el deseo de la propia persona de jerarquizar su rol. El ser maestro es una de las tareas más apasionantes porque tiene que ver con el aprender, otra vez, a ser. Es una permanente búsqueda. Eso es la educación viva, ser un aprendedor. Se necesita mucho abrazo y también mucha capacitación”, aseguró a Radio Arinfo.
“Al contrario de lo que se cree tradicionalmente, la gente que trabaja con niños más chicos son quienes más profesionales deben ser. En la etapa pre verbal los chicos arman sus matrices de aprendizaje y su estructura de personalidad: el primer año de vida marca el futuro. Por eso, los adultos deben formarse permanentemente y creerse que son altos profesionales, algo relacionado con la confianza en el rol. Eso no es algo intelectual, sino la chance de encontrarse con sus propios deseos”, señaló.
Finalmente, la especialista destacó al juego como otros de los pilares de la “Educación Viva”, no solo para los niños, sino también para los adultos.
“Los adultos habilitan espacios de juego, pero no lo practican y eso es algo primordial para encontrase a sí mismo. La educación tradicional que hemos recibido separa el juego de la vida, del trabajo o del estudio, pero la única posibilidad que tenemos de ser creativos es juntando el juego y su libertad con todo eso. El juego lo enseña todo, en una sociedad en que se privilegia mucho lo intelectual”, concluyó.
