ArInfoLa seguridad vial, un tema al que hay que prestar atención
Alejandro González, director de la ONG “Creando Conciencia”, habló del trabajo de la entidad y recalcó la importancia de concientizar y educar sobre el tema
Junio es el Mes de la seguridad vial en Argentina y, en ese marco, se realizan diversas acciones de concientización y capacitación en la materia.
“Lanzamos la campaña ‘Yo me comprometo en fomentar la educación y la información en seguridad vial’, que ha tenido bastante repercusión en proyectos educativos y con funcionarios que se han sacado fotos y se han comprometido con el tema”, sostuvo Alejandro González, director de la ONG “Creando Conciencia” y recordó que el 10 de junio es el Día de la Seguridad Vial en conmemoración a cuando en 1945 se cambió el sentido de circulación en las manos de las calles.
En diálogo con “Urbanos” por Radio Arinfo, González dijo que “no hay que bajar la guardia” en materia de concientización sobre seguridad vial.
“Es un cambio de conducta. La gente cree que conducir es algo habitual, pero hay hábitos negativos como el no uso de cinturón de seguridad, el no llevar a los chicos transportados como corresponde o no respetar los semáforos. Hay que concientizar continuamente”, señaló.
Desde “Creando conciencia” dan cursos de capacitación en las Comunas de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y en establecimientos educativos. Para eso, utilizan simuladores de uso de alcohol y de drogas en distintas graduaciones. Así, analizan los tiempos de reacción. “Da muchos resultados”, aseguró el director de la ONG.
Recientemente, la entidad firmó un convenio con la Asociación Latinoamericana de Seguridad Vial, que tiene sede en Colombia, para “unificar criterios de formación y educación”. En agosto, lanzarán el primer curso de instructor vial.
“Es una cuestión formativa que debería estar en las escuelas, como ya está por ley. Es un trabajo permanente el que hay que hacer. Es un cambio paradigma que tenemos que tener como sociedad: cómo queremos circular por nuestros espacios públicos y cómo nos queremos cuidar. La última estadística de la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial habla de que hubo 15 muertos por día en el 2017. La cifra es bastante importante”, concluyó González desde los micrófonos de Radio Arinfo.
