PAULA FERRE es una de las integrantes de lo que se da a llamar "Mujeres Trovadoras de Argentina". Previo a su visita al programa VOCES DEL SUR del lunes 29/01, la presentamos con una síntesis de su trayectoria.
Paula Ferré es una de las nuevas voces referentes de la trova argentina o canción de autor de nuestro tiempo.
En 1997, en el marco del 14° Festival Internacional de la juventud y los estudiantes realizado en Cuba, participa en dos temas del disco “Guevarianas”, de Vicente Feliu quien se convirtió en su padrino artístico.
En 1998 es invitada, junto a artistas de reconocida trayectoria: Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés, Santiago y Vicente Feliu, a la realización de “Cartas de provincia” un compilado de temas del músico cubano Lázaro García, editado en España.
A fines de 1999 participa como invitada en los conciertos de León Gieco y Víctor Heredia (teatro Opera, Buenos Aires) y en las dos presentaciones de los hermanos cubanos Vicente y Santiago Feliú (La Trastienda, Buenos Aires).
Es invitada al Encuentro de trovadores latinoamericanos “Canto de Todos” realizado en Chile en el 2000.
En 2001, en gira con Vicente Feliú y el guitarrista Alejandro Valdez, se presenta en las ciudades de Rosario, Mar del Plata y La Plata.
Es parte del I Encuentro Nacional de Cantautores (2007) y del II Encuentro de Trovadores (2008) realizados en Rosario al que asistieron más de mil personas y trovadores de toda Latinoamérica.
Durante mayo y junio del 2008 realiza junto a Vicente Feliú una gira de diez conciertos por las ciudades de Mendoza, Rosario, La Plata, Córdoba y Buenos Aires.
En agosto de 2009, en el ECuNHi (ex ESMA), con Teresa Parodi como invitada, estrena la canción de su autoría que acompaña el proyecto del Monumento a la Mujer Originaria del escultor Andrés Zerneri.
En Octubre 2009 organiza junto a Gabo Sequeira y Chiqui Ledesma un Encuentro de Trovadores en el ECuNHi, reuniendo a músicos de todo el país.
En 2010 participa del festival de Canto de Todos en Ecuador, junto a Cecilia Todd (Venezuela), Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy (Nicaragua), Vicente Feliú (Cuba) y Ricardo Flecha (Paraguay), entre otros.
En Marzo de 2011 hizo su primera gira por España representando a Argentina en el XVI Festival Independiente de la Canción de Autor Barnassants (Barcelona) y el X Festival de Cantauror@s “Abril para Vivir” (Granada) y presentando “Canciones Confidenciales” en la Embajada de Cuba en Madrid.
Marzo de 2012 fue invitada por el trovador Victor Hugo Cortez a cantar su canción Mujer Originaria junto a Liliana Herrero en Americanto en Mendoza.
Diciembre 2012: se hace acreedora al premio Canción Imprescindible de Ecuador con su tema Mujer Originaria.
Septiembre 2013: Es una de las organizadoras del 1° Encuentro Nacional de Trovadoras de Argentina “MUJERTROVA 2013” en el ECuNHi reuniendo a 10 trovadoras de todo el país.
En el mismo mes compartió Gira con Vicente Feliú en sus presentaciones en Buenos Aires, cerrando en la Casa del Bicentenario.
En marzo 2014 viajó junto a MUJERTROVA a Mendoza por la Semana de la Memoria de la Universidad de Cuyo, cantando ante más de cinco mil personas.
Octubre 2014: Una de las organizadoras del 2° Encuentro Nacional de Mujeres Trovadoras “MUJERTROVA 2014” en el Centro Cultural Haroldo Conti, C.A.B.A., Teatro Paramount de Caseros y Teatro Leopoldo Marechal de Moreno, reuniendo a 20 trovadoras de todo el país e invitadas de Latinoamérica.
Mayo de 2015 es una de las organizadoras y participantes de CANTO DE TODOS ARGENTINA realizado en el TEATRO NACIONAL CERVANTES y la UNLA, junto a Vicente Feliu, Cecilia Todd, Luis Enrique Mejia Godoy, entre otros.
En Agosto de 2015 realiza junto a otras trovadoras el 3º Encuentro Nacional de Mujeres Trovadoras de Argentina “MUJERTROVA 2015” reuniendo a 30 mujeres de todo el país. Recopiladora del CANCIONERO MUJERTROVA (primer cancionero de mujeres del país)
Se presenta en el nuevo Centro Cultural CCK como anfitriona de Vicente Feliú en Octubre de 2015
Participó en el IV FESTIVAL DE ARTE POPULAR en la Fundación Mercedes Sosa en Noviembre de 2015
Cuenta actualmente con tres producciones independientes: “Por Buenos Aires”, (1997) “Una guitarra, un sueño y una voz” (1999) y “Mujer Originaria” (2010). Participa y produce los compilados MUJERTROVA 2013 y MUJERTROVA 2014. Acaba de lanzar su nuevo disco UMBILICAL (junto a su madre y su hija), editado por el INAMU.
El lunes 29 de enero a las 20 horas estará en los estudios de ARINFO, charlando y cantando en el programa VOCES DEL SUR.
