ArInfo“Compañero del alma”, un homenaje a Miguel Hernández
El director Villanueva Cosse habla del espectáculo basado en la poesía del artista español
Recientemente, se reestrenó el espectáculo teatral “Compañero del alma”, del actor y director uruguayo Villanueva Cosse. Se trata de una obra basada en la poesía del español Miguel Hernández, perseguido por el franquismo en España y fallecido en 1942.
“Cuando comencé a estudiar teatro en 1950 en Montevideo, allí escuché hablar del ‘cuidador de cabras poeta’. Entonces pensé, ¿Cómo una persona nacida en la pobreza y la carencia se las arregló para llegar a ser lo que fue? Porque la poesía española picaba muy alto en el mundo en ese momento y Miguel Hernández descolló entre grandes y ocupó un lugar de vanguardia”, dijo a “Bragatíssimo” en Radio Arinfo el director acerca de su curiosidad por el poeta español y contó que la música de Joan Manuel Serrat fue clave para “refrescarle” su obra.
En este espectáculo, la poesía, las canciones y la acción dramática funcionan como tres patas, aunque la primera tiene rol fundamental.
“La fusión entre el teatro, música y poesía funciona. La poesía cumple rol concentrador: en pocas palabras expresa cosas que a una obra de teatro le llevarían un acto entero. La música, aún más: se logra capturar en un tiempo posible lo que le está pasando al que sufre, agoniza o está dominado por la felicidad”, destacó Cosse y valoró que el “teatro es amplio” en materia de expresión.
Finalmente, contó desde los micrófonos de Radio Arinfo que continuarán con “Compañero del alma” durante todo noviembre y que luego realizarán un parate para regresar el año próximo.
